I wanted to create a set of posters that are stylish, contemporary, vibrant and colourful – much like the Fashion Week. This was achieved in part by using pictures of model with quirky makeup and in moving poses. I chose a geometric typeface, Lemon/Milk, which has a modern look and feel. To make the type stand out, I filled them with gradients of bright colours, against the black and white photos. I also set the text to follow the motion of the models, to create movement and vibrancy in the pieces.
